Abstract
Industry 4.0 is bringing a new era to the manufacturing through Cyber-Physical Systems, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Introduction This contribution articulates AI and its major role as a contributor to the transition from conventional manufacturing into intelligent, data-driven manufacturing. Cost advantages with better resource utilization and quality When considering all these options, you get to realize that 1 out of your AI applications such as predictive maintenance, quality control or even supply chain optimization can bring to business an entirely different level of performance. The role of AI allows for real-time monitoring and processing while handling the flow of data, inducing a responsive and nimble adaptive manufacturing system.
